Vietnam is suffering serious impacts from the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in the overall dark picture of the economy, there is still opportunity to support and improve the global supply chain. One of those projects is SLP Park Hai Phong, developed by SLP which officially started construction in early August 2021 with Ricons as General Contractor.
Based on careful consideration of the current Covid-19 developments as well as the Government guidelines, this ceremony will be held both online and offline.
Located at the Non-Tariff Zone and Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Zone 1) in Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong, the large-scale project is divided into two phases with a total construction area of more than 52,000 m2. Each phase includes warehouses, auxiliary buildings, security offices, and more. Ricons will undertake structural construction, finishing and MEP installation.
A representative of SLP, Mr Chiang Wei-ta, General Director said: “Despite the challenges of Covid-19, we are able to proceed today on-time and on-schedule thanks to the support of the authorities from Hai Phong Province and Vietnam as well as the hard work and partnership between the SLP and Ricons teams. We are on track to invest about US$1 billion of capital in developing modern logistics assets across the target markets in greater Hanoi and greater Ho Chi Minh City in the next few years. So, we look forward to many more in the future to help build Vietnam’s modern logistic infrastructure”.
